April Louise, National Certified Counselor is a native of the Commonwealth State of Virginia. She grew up in Lynchburg, Virginia and graduated from E. C. Glass High School (Lynchburg, VA) and Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia. She has attained a Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling from Walden University. April Louise has called the Tarheel State of North Carolina her home for 26 years. She is the mother of one and an aunt to many!
April Louise is the founder of Life is a Mays, LLC. Assisting individuals in building skills to increase their emotional, mental, physical and safety awareness through publishing, courses, and workshops. She is a Career and Adolescent Life Coach, Workshop Facilitator, Talent Acquisition Consultant and Author.
April Louise has served as a Behavior Support Assistant in the Durham Public Schools Systems which fostered her passion to become an Adolescent Life Coach. She is an avid child advocate and has formerly served on the School Improvement Team, Parent Teacher Association, Parent Advisory Council and an Academically Intelligence Gifted Advocate.
She is a member of Chi Sigma Iota Honor Society for Counseling and a 29 year and counting member of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Incorporated.
